We have 3 NEW positions open on our Pastoral Council. Pastoral Council members further the mission of our parish by working as an advisory council to the pastor on the pastoral planning, policy development, community building and spiritual development.

Some of the qualities/skills needed for this ministry are: someone with vision, interest in all aspects of parish life, the ability to relate to and work together with a variety of people, good listening skills, and desire to participate in community prayer, the ability to articulate feelings as well as thoughts, and the time and energy to give toward the mission of our faith community.

Nominations will be accepted through October 16th. Any fully initiated parishioner eighteen years old and older is eligible. Please nominate a person/s whom you feel is capable to serve in this ministry. After speaking first with your prospective nominee, you can complete the Nomination Form below, place it in the collection basket, or you may call the church office to give your nomination. Parish Pastoral Council

The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to assume personal responsibility for the spiritual and temporal welfare of the community. We offer a forum to anyone who wished to contribute ideas and suggestions. We are the official center of communication on all things pertaining to the Parish and encourage collaboration of clergy and laity in their common mission.

The Pastoral Council meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Parish Office at 6:00 PM.


  1. A parishioner 18 years of older who has been confirmed. Membership is limited to one person per household per term.

  2. Membership is limited to nine (9) active practicing parishioners and one (1) member appointed by Pastor. All members must be parishioners of St. Anthony of Padua Parish either by boundaries or registration in the Parish.

  3. The nine (9) elected members of the Pastoral Council will be elected at large by the parishioners of St. Anthony of Padua.

  4. Ex-Officio Members are to be the Pastor and Deacons.
